Planning your senior photos is such an exciting time—but I know it can also come with a few nerves.
“What if I feel awkward?”
“What do I do with my hands?”
“Will this actually be fun?”
I’ve got you 🤍
My goal is to make your session feel relaxed, natural, and honestly… one of your favorite memories from senior year.
Before we ever start shooting, I’ll make sure you feel completely prepared and excited going into your session.
We’ll start with an optional phone call or in-person planning appointment—whatever feels best for you. This is where we bring your vision to life and make sure everything feels so you.
We’ll chat about:
• Your vision and overall vibe
• Location ideas around Southern Minnesota
• Outfits that match your locations and the look you’re going for (this is key for that cohesive, elevated feel)
• Timing (hello golden hour glow ✨)
• Hair + makeup options and what will photograph best
You’ll also receive a style and prep guide filled with outfit inspiration, color palettes, and simple tips to help everything come together effortlessly.

And because I know Minnesota weather likes to keep us on our toes—we always have a backup plan in place so you can feel confident no matter what.
My goal is for you to show up feeling confident, prepared, and honestly… just excited for a really fun experience.
You won’t be left wondering what to do—I’ll guide you every step of the way.
This is where the magic happens—and I promise, you do not need to know how to pose.
From the moment we start, my goal is to make this feel less like a photoshoot and more like a really fun, confidence-boosting experience.
I’ll guide you through everything with simple direction so you never feel awkward or unsure what to do.
Think:
• Natural movement instead of stiff posing
• Lots of laughing + hype (I’m your biggest cheerleader)
• Music playing to keep the vibe fun and relaxed 🎶
• Little prompts that bring out genuine smiles and personality

Most seniors tell me within the first 10 minutes:
“Wait… this is actually so fun.”
We keep things moving so your session feels effortless, smooth, and never rushed.
You can expect:
• Multiple locations (depending on your package)
• Quick outfit changes for variety
• A pop-up changing tent option for easy, comfortable outfit swaps on location
• Time built in for hair + makeup touch-ups so you always feel your best
• Guidance with posing, movement, and even the little details (like hands + posture)
• A mix of candid and lightly posed moments so your gallery feels natural and full of life
If you’d like to incorporate props, I’m always happy to include them in a way that feels natural and true to you. Many seniors love bringing things like sports gear, instruments, or even florals for a soft, styled touch.
More than anything, I want you to leave your session thinking:
“That was actually SO much fun… and I felt so confident.”
I want you walking away so excited and already obsessed with what we captured—counting down the days until you see your gallery and share your photos with friends and family.
Because when you feel good in the moment, that confidence shows up in every single image ✨
I’m currently booking Class of 2027 seniors in Waseca, Owatonna, and throughout Southern Minnesota—and I only have a handful of dates remaining this season.
I take on a limited number of seniors so I can give each one the best experience possible 🤍
If you’re dreaming of a session that feels fun, natural, and completely you—I’d love to chat!
